Daisy concede five first half goals in 5-3 loss against Thornton Cleveleys in the North West Counties First Division North clash.

Joleon Moore had put the Cutters ahead but Thornton scored five unanswered goals to go 5-1 up to put the game out of sight at half time of the encounter.

The Cutters scored two in the second half to attempt an audacious comeback, but the deficit was too much to mount leaving manager Nicky Hunt unimpressed with the first half performance.

“You've got to take the rough with the smooth at times in football, but that's not acceptable from us in the first half”, Nicky said.
