Despite a stirring second half comeback, Daisy Hill fell to a 3-2 defeat against Droyslden at the Ginge Power Stadium in the North West Counties League First Division North clash on Friday night.
A nightmare first half saw Daisy go three goals down and lose Adam Hampshire to two yellow cards, but in a dramatic twist, two goals in the space of four minutes from Robert Newcombe and Jake O’Brien brought Daisy back into the game to set up an exciting finale.
But despite Daisy's best efforts the visitors held to secure all three points.
