Daisy Hill rounded off their preparations for the start of the North West Counties League season with a win and a defeat in last week’s final two warm up games.
They suffered the only defeat of the pre-season programme when they fell to a 4-1 defeat at North West Counties League Premier Division Padiham on Tuesday night, before bouncing back with an emphatic 5-1 win up in Morecambe against Pause United.

On a rainy Tuesday evening in East Lancashire, Daisy began the game well, and Jake O'Brien had the first chance of the game when his well struck free kick was met by an equally good save from the Padiham keeper.
Jacob Ridings was next to try his luck with a shot that flew over the bar from just inside the area.
