A last gasp winner from Ntumba Massanka in the ninth minute of stoppage time earned Daisy Hill a dramatic 3-2 win over Darwen at the Ginge Power Stadium on Saturday.

After two goals early in each half from Liam Sheppard and Kristian Holt seemed to have put Daisy in the driving seat, Darwen drew level late on with two goals in the space of seven minutes from Kit Lloyd and Joshua Abbott.

But Massanka’s late winner earned Daisy their first win of the season in the North West Counties League First Division North.

Daisy got off to the perfect start when they opened the scoring after just six minutes.
