Hat trick hero Sheppard fires Daisy Hill to victory
Liam Sheppard's second hat trick of the season secured Daisy Hill a 3-2 win at Squires Gate on Saturday.
A superb hat trick from Liam Sheppard secured a valuable three points for Daisy Hill on Saturday in the North West Counties League First Division North.
Two first half strikes from Sheppard were cancelled out by goals from Squires Gate’s Christian Edokpayi and Ivanilson Da Silva before half time.
But with just two minutes remaining, Sheppard completed his treble to seal a win for a youthful Daisy side, that had four players making their first starting appearance for the club.
