Daisy Hill’s final league game of the North West Counties League season ended with a disappointing 5-2 defeat at the hands of Maghull at the Ginge Power Stadium on Saturday.

Daisy’s leading scorer Liam Sheppard headed the opener before Maghull edged ahead with goals either side of half time.

With 17 minutes remaining Matthew Plested levelled for Daisy, but Maghull struck three times without reply in the last 15 minutes to run out comfortable winners.
