The incident, which took place close to the school grounds, prompted immediate assistance from staff and members of the local community. The school has confirmed that the child was not seriously injured and is now safely at home with their parents.

In a message shared with parents, the school said: “We have had a minor road safety incident near school this afternoon. Please remind your child to be safe and careful crossing roads and always look for cars.”

They also expressed their gratitude to those who stopped to help at the scene: “Thank you so much to all the community who offered help and assistance to the child and our member of staff.”
